Jun 02, 2026 | Women's Volleyball
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis volleyball head coach Cheri Lindsay has announced the addition of five transfers to the 2026 roster. The group of five experienced athletes includes three outside hitters, a setter and a libero/defensive specialist that will help the Memphis lineup this upcoming season.
Lily Hamilton | Junior | Outside Hitter | Fort Worth, Texas | Sam Houston State
Hamilton comes to Memphis after spending two seasons at Sam Houston State. In her sophomore season, she put up 159 kills in 93 sets, averaging 1.71 kills per set. She set a career high of 13 against both Kennesaw State and UTEP. The Fort Worth, Texas native also recorded three solo blocks and 49 block assists. In her freshman year, Hamilton contributed 102 kills in 86 sets for the Bearkats.
Coach Lindsay's Thoughts: "Lily Hamilton plays with fire, delivering aggressive swings and emotional edge from the outside."
Tori Hill | Sophomore | Outside Hitter | Orlando, Fla. | South Carolina
Hill comes to Memphis after spending one season at the University of South Carolina. In her freshman season, she recorded 146 kills across 24 sets, averaging a dominant 6.1 kills per set while starting 15 matches. She logged back-to-back double-double outings during the year, opening the stretch with an 18-kill, 14-dig double-double at home against Clemson before hitting the road to log 17 kills and 13 digs at Coastal Carolina. Hill led the Gamecocks in kills in four matches and was named to the Gamecock Classic All-Tournament Team.
Coach Lindsay's Thoughts: "Tori Hill is a talented outside hitter with SEC-level experience, a strong arm and the ability to impact the match in multiple ways. We're excited for the competitiveness she brings to our program."
Caitlyn Little | Senior | Outside Hitter | St. Louis, Mo. | Illinois State
Little comes to the Bluff City after spending three seasons at Illinois State. During her time as a Redbird, Little helped Illinois State make the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in three consecutive seasons, including reaching the semifinals in 2024 and 2025. The St. Louis, Missouri native recorded 310 kills in her sophomore year including two 20-kill performances. Little finished in the top 10 in the MVC in kills per set with 3.20.
Coach Lindsay's Thoughts: "Caitlyn Little adds senior composure and explosive play, combining high-level defense with a competitive maturity that raises everyone around her."
Lexi Pendleton | Senior | Setter | Memphis, Tenn. | North Alabama/Itawamba CC
Pendleton returns to her hometown of Memphis after spending time at both Itawamba Community College and North Alabama. In her sophomore campaign with the Indians, she led the team with 355 kills, averaging 3.26 per set and added 195 assists, averaging 1.79 per set.
