T&F Meet 10: Crimson Tide Invitational

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Memphis track and field heads to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for the Crimson Tide Invitational on Friday, April 10.
The University of Alabama will host this one-day meet at the Sam Bailey Track & Field Stadium. A link to live results as well as the meet's schedule can be found above.
The men and women's hammer throw will kick off the meet with the women set to start at 11:00 a.m. and the men to follow. On the track side, the 100-meter hurdles start the events at 4:00 p.m.
Meghan Porterfield and Adela Mullerova won their respective events last weekend at the Joey Haines Invite. Porterfield threw 46.38 meters in the discus while Mullerova threw 47.53 meters in the javelin.
Jazmyn James and Gianna Clayton followed Porterfield in the discus event. James finished second with a throw of 45.12 meters while Clayton followed with a throw of 43.23 meters.
Amir White and Clayton made the podium for the Tigers in the shot put event. White threw a career-best 15.59 meters for a third-place finish, while Clayton secured second on the women's side with a mark of 12.75 meters.
