Lewis Named to Allstate Sugar Bowl Manning Stars of the Week

NEW ORLEANS – University of Memphis quarterback Brendon Lewis has been named to the Allstate Sugar Bowl Manning Stars of the Week list, it was announced Monday morning.

Each Monday, the Allstate Sugar Bowl will select eight top quarterback performances and fans will have the opportunity to vote for the top performance of the week. To vote, click HERE.

Lewis, a 6-3 play caller out of Dallas, Texas, had a monster week for the Tigers going 15-of-30 for 199 yards in the air and a touchdown to former Nevada teammate Cortez Braham Jr. Lewis went on to run for 103 yards on the ground with two scores of his own en route to Memphis' 32-31 win over Arkansas. His three scores helped the Tigers to their 44^th consecutive game of 20 or more points.
