Men’s Tennis Team, Five Individuals Garner ITA All-Academic Awards

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's tennis team received several academic honors, including a Team Academic Award and five individual Scholar-Athlete awards from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) on Monday.
As a team, the Tigers were recognized as an All-Academic Team after posting a 3.63 grade point average for the spring semester and finishing with a 3.65 for the 2024-25 season.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, a program must have a GPA of 3.2 or above, while all student-athletes on the roster and all varsity letter winners factor into the team cumulative GPA for the most recent academic year.
In 2025, 944 Division I men's tennis student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete while 159 women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
In addition to the team recognition, five Tigers were named ITA Scholar Athletes, including, Pablo Alemany, Luis Sandoval Carvalho, Maxime Dubouch, Moritz Kudernatsch and Sam Reeve.
