Themes Announced for Six 2025 Home Football Games

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis football team has announced its themes for the program's six home games during the 2025 season, the program announced Monday. More information on each home game's theme will be available as the season approaches at GoTigersGo.com.
Along with the themes for each home game, Tiger Tailgate and "Release the Tigers" presented by Dillard Door & Entrance Control, will return for the 2025 campaign.
Aug. 30 vs. Chattanooga (3:30 P.M.) – 901 Game
A salute to everything Memphis. A celebration of the culture of what makes up the 901!
Sept. 20 vs. Arkansas (kick time TBA) – Rhythm 'n' Roar
Embracing the rich culture and history of the Memphis music scene. Wear your Memphis blue as we aim to out-roar the calling of the Hogs.
Oct. 4 vs. Tulsa (kick time TBA) – Wrestling Day
Wrestling Day is back for the fourth-straight year, including wrestling matches on Tiger Lane prior to the game against the Golden Hurricane. For the second year in a row, the University of Memphis is partnering with The DeAngelo Williams Foundation to support breast cancer awareness.
Oct. 25 vs. South Florida (kick time TBA) – Homecoming (Parent and Family Weekend)
Inviting all Tigers back to Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium for the annual Homecoming Game and Parent and Family Weekend as the team faces off against the Bulls
Nov. 7 vs. Tulane (8 P.M.) – Salute to Service (Military & First Responders)
Saluting our military and first responders in prime time on national television.
Nov. 27 vs. Navy (6:30 P.M.) – Tiger Thanksgiving Feast (Senior Day)
Come spend Thanksgiving with the Tigers at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium as they host Navy in a nationally televised matchup and honor the senior class.
Following an undefeated home football season in 2024 where the Tigers went a perfect 7-0, ticket prices will remain the same in 2025 as fans will witness steady progress on the stadium renovation throughout the season. Season tickets for the 2025 season are available for renewal and purchase now at GoTigersGo.com.
It will be an exciting football season in 2025 as the Tigers host SEC neighbor Arkansas (Sept. 20) and AAC rivals South Florida (Oct. 25), Tulane (Nov. 7) and Navy on Thanksgiving Day. Memphis looks to continue its home winning streak in 2025 as the Tigers have amassed the fourth-most home wins (64) in the country since 2014 trailing only Alabama (71), Clemson (70) and Ohio State (68). Memphis has posted an impressive 53-9 (.855) record at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium since head coach Ryan Silverfield took over the program.
