Tigers in Tie for Seventh Place, Jarvholm In Top Ten Following Day One of Puerto Rico Shootout

HUMACAO, P.R. – The University of Memphis women's golf team finished day one of the Puerto Rico Shootout at nine over par and in seventh place with senior Julia Jarvholm leading the way with a 71 score.
Jarvholm, who shot a season-best 71 in today's round, goes into tomorrow's second round at one under par and in a share of seventh place. Nutsanun Khamphueng and Tilly Garfoot are not far behind their teammate at three over par while Emily Wilson sits at four over par.
Claire Swathwood rounds out the team following an 84 score today.
Individually, Nicole Strydom goes into tomorrow's round at one over par while Carla van Remmen finished today with a 94 score.
