Tigers Ranked in Associated Press, US LBM Coaches Polls Following Week 6

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis football team cracked into the top 25 in both the Associated Press poll and the US LBM Coaches Poll, it was announced Sunday.
Memphis (6-0, 2-0 American) comes in ranked No. 23 in the AP Poll and No. 25 in the Coaches Poll after a perfect 6-0 start to the season – the best start for the program since 2015. The Tigers own the country's longest active win streak at 10 wins and is the only bowl eligible team so far this season. The Tigers received 153 votes in the AP poll and 162 in the Coaches Poll.
The Tigers are coming off a dominating 45-7 win over Tulsa on Saturday night where quarterback Brendon Lewis accounted for four of the team's touchdowns (3 rush, 1 rec.).
Memphis will take a bye-week before returning to action on Saturday, Oct. 18 at UAB. Game time and TV designation will be released at a later date.
