Tigers Wrap Up Fall Season at Steelwood Collegiate

LOXLEY, Ala. - The University of Memphis men's golf team will wrap up its fall season this weekend at the Steelwood Collegiate down in southern Alabama.

Steelwood Golf Club, a par 72, 7,096-yard course will play host to 14 teams, including Memphis. Along with fellow American Conference opponent, Rice, the Tigers will take on West Virginia, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, Kansas State, Wake Forest, Louisiana Tech, Nebraska, Purdue, Texas A&M, Iowa State, Kennesaw State and South Alabama – who is the host for the tournament.

Last season when Memphis competed in the tournament, the Tigers brought home a fifth-place finish while Yixiang Wang and Diego Lourenco both finished three under par for the weekend for a share of 18^th place.

Playing for the Tigers this weekend will be Wang, Lourenco, Cian O'Connor, Tobey Kim and Christian Morneau.

Memphis will tee-off beginning at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning with a shotgun start. Live results can be found HERE.
