Game Day Traffic Plan Updated for Memphis Football at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis athletic department, in partnership with the Oak View Group and the City of Memphis, has implemented new traffic flow and shuttle service updates for Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium to improve the game day experience.
The 5-0 Memphis Tigers football team hosts Tulsa on Saturday, October 4 at 7 pm. The traffic flow updates will remain in place for the rest of the 2025 season.

Traffic Flow Updates
- Glenn Rogers, Sr. Street (formerly South Hollywood)
- Before the game (beginning at 4:00 PM): One-way southbound from Central Avenue toward Access 4. All four lanes will move southbound.
- During the game: Restored to two-way traffic.
- After the game (approximately 9:00 PM): One-way northbound to assist stadium exit.
- Before the game (beginning at 4:00 PM): One-way southbound from Central Avenue toward Access 4. All four lanes will move southbound.
- Southern Avenue Entry: The intersection at Glenn Rogers, Sr. Street and Southern Avenue will be closed to all incoming traffic, except for Blue City Tours shuttles. Fans entering from Southern Avenue should instead use East Parkway South.
- Access Points
- Access 4 (Central → Glenn Rogers, Sr. Street): Entry for ADA, Red, Gold, and Striped Lots.
- Access 6 (Fred Jones Way): Exit only.
- Access 7 (Central → Early Maxwell): One-way entry for Blue, Highland Hundred, Striped, and Gold Lots.
- Access 8 & 9 (East Parkway South → Tiger Lane): No changes.
- Access 11 (Southern Avenue): No changes.
- Access 4 (Central → Glenn Rogers, Sr. Street): Entry for ADA, Red, Gold, and Striped Lots.
Shuttle Service Updates
- A dedicated lane on Glenn Rogers, Sr. Street has been created for Blue City Tours Shuttles to improve efficiency.
- The new shuttle drop-off and pick-up location is outside Gate 6 on the stadium side of Glenn Rogers, Sr. Street.
- The shuttle route remains the same: pick-up on Central Avenue, travel to Glenn Rogers, Sr. Street, and drop off at Gate 6.
- The cost for the Blue City Tours shuttle is $10. MATA is providing a free shuttle to all fans, however, the drop-off location is at Early Maxwell and Central Avenue.
