Tigers Take Home Second Place, Swathwood Finishes in the Top 10

JONESBORO, Ark. – The University of Memphis women's golf team secured a second-place finish at the Lady Red Wolves Classic while sophomore Claire Swathwood finished in the top 10 for individuals.

Memphis, who finished the tournament two over par, shot four over today with the best success coming on the back nine of the course. Pavarisa Jongpipittaporn had the best round three score of the group, coming in with a 69 after three birdies on the back nine.

Swathwood picked up her second top 10 finish of her collegiate career with a share of sixth place after finishing three under par. Not far behind her was Jongpipittaporn at one under par while Emily Wilson finished even and in a share for 16^th place.

Tilly Garfoot (+7) and Claire Todd (+14) rounded out the rest of the group for the team.

Playing as individuals, Malia Cottriel finished at seven over par while Nicole Strydom and Nutsanun Khamphueng finished at 12 and 16 over par, respectively.
