Tigers Take Down UAB in First Conference Match of Season

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's tennis team came out with a 7-0 sweep over UAB for its first AAC win of the season Sunday afternoon inside Leftwich Tennis Center.

Memphis took the doubles point early with Pablo Alemany and Michael Kouame leading the way with a 6-0 win over the Blazer's number two duo, Juan Pablo Valdez and Georgios Nouchakis. The Tigers went on to claim all six singles matches with Conor Gannon (1) and Mortiz Kudernatsch (4) winning in tiebreakers.
