
Sabatti Records Clean Sheet as Memphis Tops UAB, 2-0

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis men's soccer secured a victory that places them in a tie for first place in the American Athletic Conference in a 2-0 win in its home conference opener. In this series, Memphis has now won the previous five matches against the Blazers.
With the win, the Tigers improves to 4-4-1 overall and 2-0-0 in league play, while UAB drops to 4-2-3 and 1-1-0.
In a match filled with stoppages for injuries and cards, Memphis was able to take an early lead and stunt any UAB attacks before potting a second goal in the dying seconds of the match.

- Ivan Jolivet and Isaac Calderon received yellow cards for UAB.
