Cox Named to Patrick Mannelly Award Watchlist

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis long snapper Colby Cox was named to The Patrick Mannelly Award watch list for the top long snapper in FBS, the organization announced Monday. The Patrick Mannelly Award presented by Zebra Technologies is 'a vehicle through which football's unsung workhorses can bask in the glow of appreciation.'
Cox, a Third Team Preseason All-AAC selection by Phil Steele, was a member of the 10-3, 2023 AutoZone Liberty Bowl champion Tigers while appearing in all 13 games as the long snapper.

Memphis football fans can see the Tigers at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium in the team's season opener on Saturday, Aug. 31 with a four-pack of tickets that includes a parking pass for only $69.
