Tigers to Play NC State in Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis football team (8-4) will play NC State (7-5) in the 2025 Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla. on Friday, December 19. Kickoff is slated for 1:30 p.m. CT and will be nationally televised on ESPN.
Memphis' selection to the Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl is the 12th-straight season that the Tigers have earned a bowl bid – the longest among all non-Power 4 programs.
The game will mark the first time the Tigers and Wolfpack have met.
NC State, who is playing in its sixth consecutive bowl game, posted a 7-5 overall record with a 4-4 spot in ACC play in 2025 with notable wins over Virginia (35-31) and then No. 8 Georgia Tech (48-36).
The Wolfpack bring a top-10 red zone offense in the country to the matchup, scoring on 38 of the teams 41 trips.
