
Tigers Jet West for Match Up Against San Francisco

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis Tiger men's basketball team is gearing up for its week-long road trip out west – making its first stop in California to take on the Dons of San Francisco on Thursday.
Memphis (3-0) is off to a hot start after a 94-70 win over Ohio last week gave the Tigers their third win of the season. In route to the win, the team set a new program record in three-point shooting, nailing 72.2 percent of its shots from long range (13-18).
PJ Haggerty had a big first half, pouring in 17 of his game-high 23 points, while Tyrese Hunter lit up FedExForum with 16 of his 21 points coming in the second half help Memphis cruise to the 24-point victory.
Thursday's game is set to tip-off at 9 p.m. CT from the Chase Center with coverage available on ESPNU.
