Battle for the Bones BBQ Contest Registration Now Open

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis athletic department has officially opened registration for the Battle for the Bones one-meat rib contest on Saturday, Nov. 16 outside Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.
The Battle for the Bones BBQ Competition will be held in celebration for the Memphis-UAB football rivalry game. The competition is a one-meat ribs contest.
The deadline to enter the Battle for the Bones contest is 5 p.m. CT on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, and limited spots are available. Once sold out, a waiting list will be available. The kick time for the Memphis-UAB football game will be announced at a later date. Check-in, cooks meeting and turn in times are subject to change.
PRIZES
1st Place (Ribs) - $2,000
2nd Place (Ribs) - $750
3rd Place (Ribs) - $250
ENTRY FEE - $200
Your entry fee will include the following:
- Registration into BBQ Contest
- One 20x20' cooking site
- One parking pass
- 5 tickets to the Memphis-UAB football game
