Tiger Softball Announces 2024 Season Schedule

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Tiger head softball coach Stephanie VanBrakle Prothro has announced dates for the 2024 softball schedule. The 2024 slate features 32 home games at Tiger Softball Complex with the home opener scheduled for Feb. 21 against Northern Iowa.
The Tigers will open the season on the road with back-to-back tournaments in February taking place in Baton Rouge, La. and Phoenix, Ariz. Before heading back to Memphis to host two consecutive tournaments of their own.
"I am excited about the 2024 season and seeing Memphis Softball back on the field," VanBrakle Prothro said. We are playing a well-rounded schedule with some quality competition, and I am looking forward to seeing this team compete this season. Go Tigers Go!"
The Tigers have scheduled an exciting non-conference campaign including eight power five opponents, Arizona State, BYU, California, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh and Tennessee.
Memphis will open American Athletic Conference play March 8-10 when they host Tulsa.
