Aug 31, 2023 | Women's Soccer
AMES, Iowa – The Memphis Tiger women's soccer team continued to their road stand tonight when they took on the Cyclones of Iowa State. Memphis would bounce back into the win column following a 4-1 win over ISU.
After tonight's game, Memphis moves to 4-1 overall.
"Delighted to get the win on the road while scoring four goals against a solid team," said head women's soccer coach Brooks Monaghan. "It wasn't our best performance as we got a little sloppy at times, but it was great to be able to get most everyone on the field. We still have some things we need to work on and need to make sure we have the mindset to get better with each game. At the end of the day, I am happy with tonight's outcome."
