MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis track and field teams are gearing up for a busy weekend of competition at the Ole Miss Classic in Oxford, Miss. and Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C.
Chloe Figgins will compete in Raleigh late tonight in the women's 10,000 meters. Action in Oxford will begin Friday afternoon and run through Saturday.
"We're sending Chloe [Figgins] up to Raleigh to try and get in a quick heat," head coach Kevin Robinson said. "Hoping that pans out for her. The rest of the team is heading to Ole Miss. Hoping to get a solid start for the team and try and get a pulse for where we are, and what we need to work on moving forward. We aren't competing everyone quite yet, but we will have quite a few athletes mixing it up."
