No. 12 Tigers Head to No. 5 Ole Miss on Saturday

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The No. 12-ranked University of Memphis rifle team will head to Oxford, Miss. to face No. 5 Ole Miss on Saturday, Feb. 11. The match will get underway at 8 a.m., with live targets available at GoTigersGo.com.
"We're really looking forward to getting on the road and competing against Ole Miss this weekend," head coach Morgan Phillips said. "This will be great experience for us as we shoot the qualifier next weekend, also at Ole Miss. We have our weekend set up as close to the qualifier as possible to get the most out of it."
The Tigers enter the match on Saturday with an overall record of 4-7 on the season and a mark of 2-5 in Great American Rifle Conference (GARC) play. Memphis had the team's two-match winning streak snapped on Wednesday by No. 8 Murray State, 4724-4687. The Tigers' wins this season have come over No. 9 Army, No. 14 Jacksonville State, No. 12 NC State and No. 19 UT Martin.
The Rebels boast an overall record of 7-2 on the year and a GARC mark of 5-2. Ole Miss has won three-straight matches and six of its last seven entering Saturday.
