No. 10 Tigers Collect 2-0 Win Over Rice
Oct 05, 2023 | Women's Soccer
HOUSTON, Texas – The 10th ranked Memphis Tiger women's soccer team added another win to their record following a 2-0 victory over Rice on Thursday evening.
"Winning on the road is never an easy thing to do," said head coach Brooks Monaghan. "We faced a defense that really packed it in tonight and Rice made it difficult to get in behind it, but the team still found a way to score a couple of goals and get the win. We'll take this win and move on to the next one."
After tonight's game, Memphis moves to 10-1 for the season and 4-0 in AAC play.
