LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – The Memphis Tiger women's soccer team pulled off the ultimate comeback in the AAC Quarterfinals today. After finding themselves down 1-0 going into halftime, Memphis would get two unanswered goals in the second half to take the 2-1 win over UAB.

After today's game, Memphis moves to 16-1 for the season.

KEY MOMENTS

UAB struck early in the match when Jolie St. Louis connected on a breakaway run in the 8' to put the Blazers up 1-0.
The Tigers would see multiple chances in the opening 45 minutes getting shots from Saorla Miller, Anna Hauer, Momo Nakao and Mya Jones.
UAB would get back into the box in the 14' where the Blazers would fire off a shot that Finley Lavin would block to keep it at a one-goal deficit.
After Memphis went into the break down, Anne-Valerie Seto would net the equalizer strike in the 61' off a free kick from Miller.
Both defenses would hold steady in the second half, combining for just two shots between the two teams.
Miller would send Memphis to the semi-finals after she headed in a cross from Seto in the 88' for the 2-1 win.

NOTABLES

Memphis outshot UAB 17-5 (7-3 on-goal) and won the battle in corner kicks (7-2).
Kaylie Bierman recorded two saves in route to her 14^th win this season.
This is the first come from behind victory for Memphis this season.
The win marks the third consecutive season that Memphis will play in the AAC Championship Semi-Finals.
