MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's soccer team continued its roll through the season, picking up a 2-1 win over South Florida on Friday night.

After tonight's win, Memphis improves to 9-3-2 on the season and 4-3 in American Athletic Conference play.

KEY MOMENTS

The Bulls came out hot to start the match, challenging JD Gunn with three shots fired off in the opening 10 minutes of play.
Lineker Rodrigues dos Santos put the Tigers on the board in the 21' after Eric Primo flicked him a pass deep in the box to assist on the 1-0 lead.
After continuing to challenge Gunn and the Memphis defense, South Florida broke through in the 74' to tie the match.
It was Rodrigues dos Santos again in the 82'; Anders Bordoy found his captain streaking into the box, and Rodrigues dos Santos kicked it home to give Memphis a 2-1 lead.
The Bulls looked to even the score with a shot from Alex Sannes in the 86', but it was wrapped up by Gunn.

NOTABLES

Gunn picked up his sixth win of the season and notched four saves in tonight's win.
Tonight marked the fourth-consecutive match where Rodrigues dos Santos has found the back of the net. It also marked his second multi-goal match of the season.
South Florida won the battle in shots (12-11) and corner kicks (8-7).
