No. 10 Tigers Notch 11th Consecutive Win

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Tiger women's soccer team remained perfect in American Athletic Conference play following a 4-0 shutout over Temple Sunday afternoon.
Following today's match, Memphis moves to 14-1 for the season and 8-0 in AAC play.

- After a scoreless first half where the Tigers limited the Owls to just one shot, Saorla Miller opened up shop for Memphis. Miller would find the back of the net in the 45' to put the Tigers up 1-0.
- Just four minutes later, Mya Jones found the feet of Honoka Hamano deep in the box for Memphis' second strike of the day.
- It would be the duo of Hamano and Jones again in the 60', this time, Jones picking up her sixth goal of the season to give the Tigers a 3-0 lead.
- Jones would do it again in the 70' with a shot that went off the post into the goal for her second of the day.
- Temple would see just one shot in the second frame that Claire Wyville would save.
- Kaylie Bierman got the start today tallying 70 minutes of work while Wyville finished off the remaining 20 minutes of play.
- Today's match marks Jones' second career multi-goal game.
- The victory brought the team's winning streak to 11 games – tying the program's best winning streak since the 2019 season.
- Memphis' undefeated home streak extends to 19 matches dating back to Oct. 2021.
- The Tigers have outscored their opponents 40-5 – ranking them top-10 in the nation in goal differential.
- Tiger goalkeepers continue to shine, bringing the team's goals-against average down to a Division I second-best 0.33.
