Jan 21, 2023 | Men's Track and Field, Women's Track and Field
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis Track & Field kicked its indoor season off at the Vanderbilt Invitational over the weekend at the Vanderbilt Multipurpose Facility, where Cole Riddle broke the program's indoor pole vault record among other strong performances on Friday and Saturday.
"I definitely thought we had some very solid performances," Memphis Track & Field Head Coach Kevin Robinson said. "The pole vault group was definitely a highlight for us. Cole [Riddle] set a new school record and a mark that ranks very high in the NCAA as of now. Alyssa Morello's mark is No. 2 all-time at Memphis and was a huge PR. Also, freshman Dylan Boldrighini looked really good in long jump in his first collegiate meet. Will Dibo and Sascha Salesius Schmidt did very well as true freshmen in shot put as well."
