No. 13 Memphis to Face No. 12 NC State, No. 19 UT Martin this Weekend

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The No. 13-ranked University of Memphis rifle team will be back in action this weekend when the team faces No. 12 NC State and No. 19 UT Martin.
The Tigers go against the Wolfpack on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. in Murray, Ky. before facing the Skyhawks on Sunday, Jan. 22 at 9 a.m. Live targets for both matches can be found at GoTigersGo.com.
"We are very excited to get back on the road this weekend with a doubleheader against NC State and UT Martin," head coach Morgan Phillips said. "The team enjoyed a good break around the holidays and returned feeling refreshed and ready to work hard. We've had a great couple of weeks of practice and are ready to put it to the test this weekend."
Memphis enters the weekend with an overall record of 2-6 on the season and a mark of 1-5 in Great American Rifle Conference (GARC) action. The Tigers' two wins this year have come against No. 9 Army and No. 14 Jacksonville State.
NC State is 1-4 this season in dual matches, but has shot well on the year, averaging an aggregate score of 4671.67. UT Martin is 0-7 on the season this year, but like the Wolfpack, have been competitive in all the team's matches. The Skyhawks are averaging an aggregate score of 4608.63 on the season.
