Jones Named to Weekly Honor Roll

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Following a go-ahead goal in the team's 2-2 draw with Cincinnati, Mya Jones has been named to the American Athletic Conference's Weekly Honor Roll.

Jones, a senior from Calgary, Alberta, would send a shot to the net from the outskirts of the penalty box in the 62' to soar over the Bearcat goalkeeper to put the Tigers up 2-1. Thursday night's goal marked her third of the season.

This is the first Honor Roll award for Jones this season and the sixth time in her career she has been named to the Weekly Awards list.

Memphis (4-3-3, 0-0-2 AAC) is back in action this Thursday night when they host Houston. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. with coverage available on ESPN+.
