Tigers Tied for Fifth After Two Rounds at AAC Championship

PINEHURST, N.C. – The University of Memphis women's golf team continued play at the AAC Championship in Pinehurst, N.C. on Monday, finishing the second round of action with a team score of 300 (+12) to sit in a tie for fifth place with Tulsa with a two-round total of 602 (+26).
Houston leads the AAC Championship with a score of 587 (+11), six strokes better than No. 28-ranked UCF. SMU is in third place with a score of 595 (+19), while Tulane is in fourth with a total of 597 (+21).
KEY MOMENTS
• Victoria England continues to lead the way for Memphis at Pinehurst No. 6, as she sits in a tie for 12th place with a 36-hole score of 149 (+5).
• Senior Victoria Gallegos carded the round of the day for the Tigers, shooting a second-round 73 (+1) to move into a tie for 16th place with a total of 150 (+6).
• Katie Stinchcomb is tied for 19th overall with a score of 151 (+7). The freshman had the second-best round for the team with a total of 74 (+2).
