
Memphis Women’s Golf Ready for AAC Championship

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's golf team will head to Pinehurst, N.C. to compete in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Championship this weekend. The three-day tournament gets started on Sunday, April 17 and runs through Tuesday, April 19.
Live scoring for the event can be found at GoTigersGo.com. The third and final round of the AAC Championship will be broadcast on ESPN+ starting at 8:50 a.m. CT.
The 54-hole tournament will be played on the historic par 72 Pinehurst No. 6, that will play 6,290 yards. Teams will play 18 holes each day. Complete details on the AAC Championship can be found here.
The 10-team field includes Memphis, No. 28-ranked UCF, South Florida, SMU, Cincinnati, Tulane, Tulsa, East Carolina, Houston and Wichita State.
In 2021, the Tigers placed seventh at the AAC Championship at Pinehurst No. 6 with a 54-hole total of 910 (+46). Victoria England tied for ninth place overall with a score of 223 (+7).
Last time out, Memphis earned a season-best second place finish, earning runner-up honors at the rain-shortened Brickyard Collegiate. England tied for fifth place with a total of 145 (+1), while Victoria Gallegos tied for 11th with a 147 (+3). Katie Stinchcomb (T-16) and Rebecca Brink (T-20) also earned top-20 finishes for the Tigers.
