DALLAS, Texas – The University of Memphis women's golf team completed play at the Trinity Forest Invitational on Tuesday, carding a team total of 928 (+64) to finish in 12th place. No. 23-ranked Texas Tech won the tournament at the Trinity Forest Country Club with a score of 886 (+22).
KEY MOMENTS
• Junior Brooke Veres headlined the Tigers' effort at the tournament this week, tying for 29th overall with a score of 229 (+13).
• Veres carded rounds of 79-79-71 to lead Memphis. Her final round 71 featured three birdies, 13 pars and just a pair of bogeys.
• Sophomore Rebecca Brink tied for 44th overall with a score of 233 (+17), while fifth year Julia Matzat finished in a tie for 46th with a total of 234 (+18).
• Both junior Victoria England and freshman Katie Stinchcomb tied for 55th place with score of 240 (+24).
