DALLAS, Texas – The University of Memphis women's golf team began competition at the Trinity Forest Invitational on Monday, tying for ninth place after the first round with a score of 317 (+29).

Play in the second round was suspended due to darkness at the Trinity Forest Country Club in Dallas, Texas. South Florida leads after 18 holes with a score of 304 (+16).

KEY MOMENTS
• Three Tigers carded opening round scores of 79 (+7) on Monday, with Rebecca Brink, Julia Matzat and Brooke Veres leading the charge for Memphis.
• All three were tied for 28^th place after 18 holes.
• Victoria England shot an 80 (+8) to tie for 41^st after the first round, while Katie Stinchcomb tied for 67^th with a total of 85 (+13).
