Williams Named to AAC Weekly Honor Roll

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – For the second time this season, senior DeAndre Williams has been named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll team for his performance on the court this past week.
The Houston, Texas product put together a 25-point effort in an 83-61 victory over Alabama State last week. He went 11-of-14 from the floor and also added seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 29 minutes.
On the season, he's averaging 15.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists per outing.
The Tigers (10-3) return to action Thursday when they host South Florida at 7 p.m. to open AAC play. They will then travel to New Orleans to take on Tulane at 4 p.m. on New Year's Day.
