• Coin Toss: Memphis won the toss and elected to receive.
• Memphis Captains: Michael Denson, Quindell Johnson

TEAM NOTES
• With the victory, Memphis improved to 7-0 on Thursday games and to 11-1 in non-Saturday games at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.
• The Tigers improved to 40-7 (.851) at Simmons Bank Liberty stadium since head coach Ryan Silverfield joined the staff in 2016. In his time as head coach, Memphis is 15-4 (.789) at home.
• With the win, Memphis became the fourth team in FBS since 2014 to win 50 games at home, joining Clemson, Alabama and Ohio State.
• Memphis led Tulsa 20-3 at halftime. The 17-point lead was its largest halftime lead this season.
• The Memphis defense held Tulsa to 31 rushing yards (1.3 avg.) - the fewest since it allowed 49 yards against Mississippi State last season.
• Memphis' 36:14 time of possession is the most time controlling the ball for the Tigers since last year against SMU.
• The Tigers have forced a turnover in 13 of the last 15 games and have registered 28 takeaways during that stretch.
PLAYER NOTES
• Memphis scored the first touchdown of the game on its second drive of the game. Sophomore quarterback Seth Henigan hit redshirt-junior wide receiver Javon Ivory on a post for a 68-yard score. It was a career-long reception for Ivory and Henigan's second-longest completion this season.
• The touchdown pass for Henigan extended his streak of consecutive games with a touchdown pass to 21 – every game of his Tiger career.
• Redshirt-senior defensive lineman Jaylon Allen logged his third sack of the season midway through the first quarter to force a Tulsa punt. He added his fourth sack of the season early in the fourth quarter to force a Tulsa turnover on downs and tied his career high for sacks in a game (2).
• Redshirt-senior wide receiver Eddie Lewis returned a punt 25 yards – good for the longest return of Lewis' career.
• Redshirt-senior kicker Chris Howard booted a career-long 49-yard field goal with 6:36 to play in the first quarter.
• Redshirt-senior running back Asa Martin punched it in from three yards out on the first play of the second quarter to give the Tigers a 17-3 lead. It was the fourth rushing touchdown of the season for Martin and his fifth overall this season.
• Fifth-year linebacker Tyler Murray picked off Tulsa's Davis Brin with 10:21 to play in the first half. It was Murray's second interception of the season and eighth of his career. Murray ended the game with four tackles and a pair of quarterback hurries to go with his interception.
• Howard connected on his second field goal (31) of the day as time expired in the first half to give the Tigers a 20-3 lead at the midway point.
• With his fifth reception of the game, Ivory eclipsed 100 receiving yards for the game. It was the first 100-yard game for Ivory this season and third such game of his career. He also matched a career high in receptions (7) and ended three yards short (123) of matching his career high (126) in yards.
• Lewis returned seven punts in the game for 80 yards. Lewis' seven punt returns is tied for the third-most in a single game by a Tiger in program history.
• Howard drilled his third field goal (44) of the day with :32 remaining in the third quarter to give the Tigers a 20-point lead (23-3). He made it four-for-four on the day when he drilled a 32-yard attempt with :45 remaining in the ball game.
• Redshirt-senior punter Joe Doyle punted six times, pinning Tulsa inside its own 20-yard line four times.
• Redshirt-sophomore running back Jevyon Ducker paced the Tigers on the ground, rushing 14 times for 32 yards.
• Redshirt-senior running back Asa Martin had 10 carries for 31 yards and the Tigers' lone rushing touchdown of the game. Martin also hauled in three receptions for 10 yards.
• Fifth-year linebacker Xavier "Zay" Cullens led Memphis in tackles (8) and recovered a fumble.
• Junior defensive back Davion Ross tallied five tackles (all solo), including one for a loss, forced a fumble and broke up a pass.
• Sophomore defensive back Joel Williams had a pair of stops, including the first sack of his career, and logged a pass breakup.
