• Appeared in 11 of Memphis’ 14 games, finishing the season with four tackles
• Memphis won a third straight American Athletic Conference West Division Championship and won their first outright AAC conference championship
• The team also earned the program’s first New Year’s Six Bowl bid with a berth in the 2019 Cotton Bowl
• In the American Athletic Conference championship game, finished with two tackles -- one solo, in a win over Cincinnati
• Tallied his first tackle of the season in a conference win over Tulane
• Added a tackle in a conference road win at USF
• Memphis’ championship game appearance was its third in as many seasons

• Member of the 2018 squad that went 8-6, won the American Athletic Conference West Division title, played in The American Championship Game and earned a Birmingham Bowl berth
• The 2018 Tigers overcame a three-game deficit heading into the month of November to win the league’s West Division crown.

• Two-time All-District 21-6A first team linebacker/defensive lineman for head coach Craig Stump at Atascocita High School
• Helped lead the Eagles to a 10-2 record, a district championship and the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Class 6A Division I playoffs regional final in 2017
• Led a defense that held opponents to single-digit points in six of 12 games, including two shutouts
• Finalist for the Touchdown Club of Houston’s UIL Defensive Player of the Year award
• Other 2017 honors were: Texas Sports Writers Association (TSWA) Class 6A All-State second team (LB) and VYPE Magazine All-Houston second team (DE)
