MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The No. 13-ranked University of Memphis rifle team fell to No. 1 TCU, 4722-4675, on Saturday morning at the R.F. Fogelman Rifle Range in Memphis, Tenn. The Horned Frogs won smallbore, 2342-2310, and air rifle, 2380-2365.

"I'm happy with how the team performed today and think this was another solid match to have under our belt," head coach Morgan Phillips said. "I think we're proving we can consistently shoot decent scores and know we still have a lot of room for growth. We'll enjoy a weekend off and get ready for another home match against Army."

KEY MOMENTS
• Senior Angeline Henry was the top finisher for the Tigers on Saturday, placing second overall in aggregate with a score of 1180. Henry took second in air rifle with a 598 and fourth in smallbore with a 582.
• Freshman Gabriela Zych placed sixth overall with an aggregate total of 1171. Zych was fifth in air rifle with a score of 593 and seventh in smallbore with a 578.
• Junior Jack Kersey placed eighth overall with an aggregate score of 1161. Kersey also posted totals of 576 in smallbore and 585 in air rifle.
• Junior Kaylene Castillo was ninth overall with a total of 1160, while freshman Sophia Cruz was 10^th with a score of 1160.
