Tigers Fall at South Florida

TAMPA, Fla. – In a matchup with the reigning AAC Regular Season Champions and the AAC Tournament Champions, the Memphis Tigers traveled to the Bulls of South Florida in search for their first conference win of the season. Despite an early goal, USF would score on the bookends of halftime and had the Tigers the 2-1 loss.
After today's game, Memphis moves to 4-4-4 for the season and 0-1-3 in American Athletic Conference play.

- Kimberley Smit put Memphis on the board in the 20' when she found the back of the net off a rebounded corner kick to put the Tigers up 1-0.
- Just 68 seconds before halftime, USF would get a breakaway goal from Serita Thurton to tie the match.
- Just a minute into the second half, the Bulls would get a completed penalty kick from Chiara Hahn to take a 2-1 lead.
- Memphis would send off seven shots in the second half but were unable to connect.
