JONESBORO, Ark. – The University of Memphis Tigers women's golf team concluded play at the Lady Red Wolves Classic at Sage Meadows Country Club in Jonesboro, Ark. on Tuesday, placing sixth overall with a team total of 888 (+24). The Tigers carded rounds of 298-295-295 for the tournament.
KEY MOMENTS
• Rebecca Brink capped the best tournament of her collegiate career on Tuesday, finishing in a tie for eighth with a score of 218 (+2).
• The sophomore, who set a career-best, 18-hole score on Monday with her second round 71 (-1), earned her first top-10. Her 54-hole score and T-8 finish are both personal-bests as well.
• Junior Victoria England had the best showing of her season as well, finishing in a tie for 13th with a total of 220 (+4). The top-20 was her first of the year, while the 220 was a season-low, 54-hole score.
• Junior Brooke Veres tied for 31st overall thanks to a final round 74 (+2), finishing with a total of 225 (+9).
• Freshman Katie Stinchcomb tied for 45th overall with a score of 228 (+12), while senior Victoria Gallegos tied for 61st with a 232 (+16).
• Playing in her first collegiate event, Lea Dawson placed 80th with a score of 243 (+27). The freshman played as an individual for the tournament.
