JONESBORO, Ark. – The University of Memphis Tigers women's golf team began play at the Lady Red Wolves Classic at Sage Meadows Country Club in Jonesboro, Ark. on Monday. The team sits in third place after two rounds with a 36-hole total of 593 (+17).

KEY MOMENTS
• Sophomore Rebecca Brink had the best day of her Tiger career on Monday, finishing in sixth place through two rounds with a score of 145 (+1).
• After matching her personal-best in the first round with a 74 (+2), Brink carded her first career under-par round in the second, shooting a 71 (-1).
• Junior Victoria England also had a nice day on the links, carding rounds of 72-75 to end the day tied for 11^th place with a score of 147 (+3).
• Freshman Katie Stinchcomb cut two rounds off her first-round score of 76 to shoot a 74 in the second round, ending the first 36 holes in a tie for 26^th with a score of 150 (+6).
• Junior Brooke Veres is tied for 32^nd (76-75) with a total of 151 (+7), while senior Victoria Gallegos is tied for 65^th (80-77) with a score of 157 (+13).
• Playing in her first collegiate event, freshman Lea Dawson is tied for 74^th (79-81) after two rounds with a total of 160 (+16). Dawson is playing as an individual this week for the Tigers.
