Men's tennis faces LSU in battle of the Tigers

Match time in Baton Rouge set for 4 p.m.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Hitting the road again, the University of Memphis men's tennis team heads to Louisiana to battle No. 44 LSU. First serve on Wednesday is set for 4 p.m. at the LSU Tennis Complex.
The Tigers are looking to bounce back after suffering a setback against UCF on Sunday. David Stevenson was the lone singles match to go in Memphis' favor.
Stevenson has now won four-straight individual singles matches, and holds a 7-4 singles record in the spring.
Wednesday marks the fourth SEC opponent for the Tigers this spring, and while. Earlier in the schedule, Memphis was a set away from upsetting Arkansas on the road.
The match against LSU is the second to last road match for Memphis this season. After LSU, the Tigers will be at Tulane to close out the road portion of the schedule on Sunday.
LSU played a doubleheader on Sunday, falling to SEC foe South Carolina before picking up a sweep of Nicholls State. The Tigers are 10-5 on the spring season, but have struggled out of the gates to start SEC play, carrying a 1-3 record in league play.
Memphis is the third American Athletic Conference opponent on the Tigers' schedule, which also included Tulane and SMU. LSU was narrowly defeated by the Green Wave, but rebounded to sweep SMU in mid-February.
