MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Play resumes at home Tuesday evening for the University of Memphis women's basketball team as the Tigers welcome Tulane to the Elma Roane Fieldhouse. Tipoff against the Green Wave is slated for 7 p.m. CT as the Tigers celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day on the American Digital Network.

Memphis is coming off a commanding 63-44 victory against Tulsa last Saturday afternoon. Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu posted her eighth career double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds to pace the Tigers to victory. Only Mia Davis of Temple has recorded more double-doubles in the league than Fankam Mendjiadeu.

Freshman guard Madison Griggs knocked down two more three-pointers in the win against Tulsa, increasing her season total to 56 treys. The total ranks second in the American Athletic Conference and has cracked the top 10 for the most three-pointers in a single season at Memphis.

The Tigers look to even the season series against Tulane after falling on Jan. 11 in the Big Easy by a score of 59-55. All-time against the Green Wave, Memphis owns a 28-22 advantage. In Memphis, the Tigers are 14-9 against Tulane with wins in three of the last four meetings in the Bluff City.

A Look At Tulane
Tulane opened the conference slate with a perfect 6-0 record before receiving setbacks to USF and Houston in the span of the last three games. Overall, the Green Wave are 12-10 on the season.

The margin of victory in conference wins is just over three points per game for Tulane. The Green Wave have overcome 17-point deficits three times this season on the road.

Two players continue to average in double digits for the Green Wave in Krystal Freeman and Arsula Clark at 14.3 and 11.8 points, respectively. Freeman is also the team's leading rebounder at 7.6 boards per contest. Kayla Manuirirangi has been a threat from beyond the arc for Tulane, hitting 46 treys on the season at a clip of 37.4 percent.

Tulane continues to shoot under 60 percent from the charity stripe this season, but ranks in the top four in The American in three-point percentage at 32.6 percent.

Lisa Stockton is the head coach of the Green Wave and is currently in her 26th season at the helm.
