Women's Golf Eighth at End of Day One at Florida State

Third Round Tee Times
Memphis is tied with Missouri for eighth at the end of day one of the Florida State Matchup at Bay Point Golf Club. Memphis carded a 321 and 311 to end day one with a 632. With three golfers in the top six, LSU leads the team event with a 592.

LSU's Ingrid Lindblad is the lone individual with a score under par at the end of 36 holes. She opened with a 71 and followed with a second round 72 to end day one at 143, a four stroke lead over Beatrice Wallin from host Florida State.

Tiger Notes
- Gallegos opened her second round with birdies on her first two holes to quickly get to -2 in her round. Bogeys on 16 and 18 pushed her back to even and she went +3 her in final nine holes to finish the round at +4 (76). That was two strokes better than her opening round 78.
- Victoria England will have some momentum when she starts her third round on Sunday. She birdied her final two holes (13 and 14) to get back to +7 for the second round.
- Ana Dawson jumped six spots from her first to second round. After a first round 82, she fired a 77 in the second round to finish at 159 for the opening day. She birded 13, her second-to-last hole, but a bogey on 14 pushed her back to +5 to end the day.
- Brooke Veres celebrated her birthday on the team's travel day to Florida. On Saturday, she birdied two of her final 10 holes. A double on four pushed her to +6, but the freshman got a stroke back two holes later on six.
