Start times, networks set for Memphis basketball’s first three AAC games

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Tigers basketball will open its conference schedule with a 6 p.m. tipoff at Tulane on Wednesday, Dec. 16, the American Athletic Conference announced Thursday. The game will be televised on either ESPN2 or ESPNU.
The AAC also announced the Tigers' first home conference game will begin at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 21, against Tulsa on ESPN2. Memphis' Dec. 29 game against USF is set for an 8 p.m. start at FedExForum and will be televised on either ESPN2 or ESPNU.
Additional information on start times and networks will be provided as it becomes available.
Memphis (2-2) is back at FedExForum tomorrow at 7 p.m. for a matchup with Central Arkansas in what will be the Bears' first game of the season. A limited number of single-game tickets are available at www.GoTigersGoTix.com.
The 2020-21 season is The American's first under its 12-year media rights extension with ESPN, which will allow for a minimum of 60 conference-controlled games to be televised on either ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or ABC. A minimum of 23 of those games will be on either ESPN, ESPN2 or ABC.
Nearly 60 percent of The American's men's basketball slate will be featured on linear television, including CBS, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU.
