Memphis travels to Kansas for Top 25 showdown

MEMPHIS, Tenn. –No. 20/18 Memphis women's soccer will open a two-match road swing against the No. 18 Kansas Jayhawks on Thursday night in a Top 25 showdown.

- The Tigers checked in at No. 20 in this week's United Soccer Coaches Poll and No. 18 in the TopDrawerSoccer poll. With Kansas ranking No. 18 in the United Soccer Coaches poll, Thursday's matchup will mark the third time in the last five matches the Tigers will play in a Top 25 contest.
- Junior Clarissa Larisey and freshman Mya Jones were tabbed the AAC Offensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively. Larisey logged four goals last week, including hat trick against Little Rock to open the season. Jones notched a pair of assists in her collegiate debut against Little Rock.

Behind the wins, Kansas went from unranked to No. 18 in this week's United Soccer Coaches poll. Entering the season, the Jayhawks were picked to finish sixth in the Big 12 preseason poll.
