
70 Student-Athletes Slated for Saturday Commencement

Largest Athletics graduating class in history expected to cross the stage on Saturday.
Of the class of 2019, 25 different majors from graduates from 20 different states will be represented. There are also graduates from 10 different countries expected to cross the stage with a student-athlete stole on. Of the 70 graduates, 41 of the department's graduates are graduating with honors or higher. Eleven student-athletes are finishing their degrees Summa Cum Laude (4.0-3.8), 15 graduated Magna Cum Laude (3.79-3.50) and another 15 are graduating Cum Laude (3.25-3.49).
There are three different commencement ceremonies on Saturday. The first, at 10 a.m., will be for graduates in the College of Communication Sciences and Disorders, the Kemmons Wilson School of Hospitality & Resort Management, the Loewenberg College of Nursing, the School of Health Studies, the School of Public Health & the College of Communication & Fine Arts (CCFA).
The 1:30 p.m. ceremony will feature graduates in the Fogelman College of Business & Economics, the University College and the Herff College of Engineering.
The final ceremony on Saturday will be at 5 p.m. for the College of Arts & Sciences and the College of Education.
Admission to commencement at FedExForum is free. Walk-through magnetometers are used at all entrances, so plan for bag checks and lines at security.
Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the FedExForum parking garage. Parking is cash only and costs $5.00 for the ceremonies.
