2017 (Junior):
Appeared in 14 matches for the Tigers, coming off the bench as a high energy speedster … in 232 minutes, got off one shot, but kept opposing defenses honest with her ability to stretch the field.
2016 (Sophomore):
Coming off the bench in 15 of the 20 games, Hudson-Marks was a key substitute off the bench … led bench players in goals (3), assists (2), and total points (8) … scored the only goal in the NCAA Tournament loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks (11/11), and scored other goals against UMKC (9/2) and Cincinnati (10/9) … her goal against Cincinnati came in 21 minutes off the bench … she was named to the AAC All-Academic team.
2015 (Freshman):
Started 10 matches and played in all 19 contests as a true freshman … scored two goals and was credited with one assist … logged 896 minutes during the season … first career goal was the game-winner over UT Martin … scored her second goal in the Tigers’ 2-0 win at Cincinnati … assisted on a goal in the 2-2 draw at USF that spoiled a perfect home record for the Bulls … played for the Jamaican U-20 team at the CONCACAF U-20 Women’s Championship in December of 2015 … started two group matches for the young Reggae Girlz and scored as a substitute in a win over Trinidad and Tobago.
Prior to Memphis:
A four-year letterwinner in soccer as a forward or midfielder for Pine Ridge Secondary School in Pickering, Ontario … starred for North Mississauga Soccer Club under coach Trevor Bertrand, where she helped the team to a title-winning performances at the 2014 Canadian National Championships, the 2014 Ontario Cup, where she scored a hat trick in the finals, and the 2014 Ontario Youth Soccer League … she was the top goal-scorer of the U-17 girls Olympic Youth Sports League … invited to train with U-20 Jamaican Women’s National Team … she also was a point guard for her high school’s basketball team.
Personal:
Daughter of Angella Hudson and Wayne Marks … her cousin is Olympic gold-medalist Usain Bolt … she enjoys photography, drawing and watching Netflix in her free time … she was also a member of her high school’s band to go along with her sports teams … majoring in marketing management.
