MEMPHIS ANNOUNCES POSTSEASON TICKET INFORMATION
Mar 17, 2019 | Men's Basketball
MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis announced the process for ordering tickets to either the NCAA Tournament or the National Invitation Tournament (NIT), in the event the Tigers are selected to participate.
If the Tigers are selected to play in the NCAA Tournament, tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, March 19. Seating location will be based on priority points and will be limited to the total number of tickets Memphis receives from the host city. This same process will be followed if the Tigers are selected to play in the NIT and are assigned a road game.
If Memphis is selected to play an NIT game at home, existing season ticket holders will have the option to purchase their existing season ticket locations for the NIT game. Starting immediately, each season ticket holder account will have the option to log into their account on GoTigersGoTix.com and purchase their existing seats for the possible NIT home game. If Memphis is chosen to host an NIT game, the account will be charged for the cost of those tickets. If the Tigers do not host an NIT game or are chosen to play in the NCAA Tournament, the tickets will not be charged to the account. Fans will have until Monday, March 18 at 5 PM to complete their purchase. At 5 p.m., all un-purchased tickets will be made available to the general public, with prices starting at $12 in the Terrace Level. Plaza Sideline tickets are $30 each, while Plaza Endzone seats and Club Level seats will be available for $20 each.
Please note that fans that elect to purchase their existing season ticket locations for an NIT game will only be charged for the tickets if they choose to renew them for this event and the Tigers host the event. Due to the quick turnaround, all NIT tickets will be delivered via mobile delivery or print-at-home.
Both the NCAA and NIT selections will be announced on Sunday, March 17. The NCAA Tournament selections will be made during a nationally-televised event on CBS at 5 p.m, while the NIT selections will be announced on ESPNU at approximately 7:30 p.m..
