Tigers seeking fifth straight Top 5 finish as they close fall season
MEMPHIS, Tenn.  – The University of Memphis men's golf team, coming off its fourth straight Top 5 finish of the fall, plays its fifth and final event of the 2019-20 fall season Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at the Kiawah Classic at Turtle Point Golf Club in Kiawah Island, S.C.

The 21 teams in this year's field will play single rounds Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Shotgun starts on each day begin at 8:30 a.m. Tee times will post on www.GolfStat.com when available.Â

The Tigers opened the fall season Sept. 23-24 at the Graeme McDowell Invitational in Birmingham. They finished fifth in a 19-team field by shooting 3-over 867, including a 12-under 276 in the second round.

In their second event at the David Toms Intercollegiate in Shreveport, La., the Tigers finished second in a field of 12.

In the Quai Valley Intercollegiate, the Tigers finished third at 40-under par, shattering the program's team scoring records. And in their last event, the Tigers tied for third at 2-over 854 in the Intercollegiate at Innisbrook. Isaiah Jackson finished second in the field with a 7-under 206.
