Tigers Post Three Top-10 Finishes at Rhodes Fall Invitational

TUNICA, Miss. – Three members of the University of Memphis men's golf team competed as individuals at the Rhodes Fall Invitational at Tunica National Golf Course on Monday, with all three finishing in the top 10.
Christian Morneau led the Tigers by carding a 5-under-par 211. The junior opened with a 2-under-par 70 and a 4-under-par 68 in the first two rounds before closing out the tournament with a 1-over-par 73 to secure second place.
In his collegiate debut, Tiago Ledgaro finished at 1-over 217 to tie for sixth place. Ledgard posted a 2-over 74 and an even-par 72 in the opening rounds before firing a 1-under-par 71 in the final round.
Chujing Su followed at 2-over-par 218 to earn a share of eighth place. Su shot 74 and 73 in the first two rounds before closing with a 1-under-par 71 on Monday.
Memphis returns to action Monday, Oct. 5, at the Cullan Brown Invitational in Lexington, Kentucky.
