UofM and Green Wave to open conference play at 8 p.m.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis and Tulane will open their respective American Athletic Conference men's basketball seasons Monday Dec. 30 at 8 p.m. at FedExForum. The game will be carried by the CBS Sports Network.
Originally scheduled for a noon tipoff on New Year's Eve, the date was changed by the conference office to avoid a conflict with the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, which will be played on New Year's Eve.
The Tigers open their second season under coach Penny Hardaway with an Oct. 24 exhibition game against CBU. The regular season starts Nov. 5 at home against South Carolina State.
