Tigers host UAPB for double header

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis men's tennis seeks to build upon a 5-1 start with a double header Friday against Arkansas - Pine Bluff.

Friday's first serve is set for 11 a.m., with the day's second match to follow approximately 30 minutes after the first contest has concluded.

The Tigers return to the Racquet Club of Memphis after splitting a pair of matches at last week's ITA Kick-Off Weekend. Memphis opened the event with a 4-1 victory against Old Dominion before dropping the finals match against No. 1 Wake Forest.

Senior Chris Patzanovsky seeks to improve his impressive campaign. After an 8-1 mark in the fall, the Germany native holds a 4-1 record in dual-match play. Freshman Oscar Cutting is off to a 5-0 singles start this spring. Cutting provided the match-clinching victory against Old Dominion and collected the Tigers' lone singles win against Wake Forest.

UAPB (0-3) comes to Memphis after a double-header setback at Tulsa and a loss at Oral Roberts to start the season.
